Pricing questions
Is Montia really free?
Yes, during the beta: every option is free, no credit card. Videos edited for free (beta and Free plan) carry an animated "Edited with Montia" banner, shown at the start, at regular intervals and at the end. After the beta, the Free plan remains available with 3 edited minutes per month; paid plans remove the banner.
What is an "edited minute"?
One minute of the final delivered video. Silences and bad takes that get cut are not counted: 10 minutes of footage often becomes 6 to 7 edited minutes.
Do unused minutes roll over?
No, a plan's allowance renews every month. Credits bought separately remain valid for 12 months.
Can I change plans or cancel?
Yes, at any time from your account, in a few clicks. An upgrade applies immediately, prorated; a cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period.
Do prices include VAT?
Yes, prices shown to consumers include all taxes.
