Terms of sale
Version of October 5, 2026. This English version is provided for information; in case of discrepancy, the French version prevails.
During the beta, the Service is free and no sale takes place. These terms of sale will apply to purchases made once paid plans open, which will be announced at least 30 days in advance.
1. Seller
[company name], a [legal form] with a share capital of €[amount], registered with the [city] Trade and Companies Register under number [SIREN], with its registered office at [address], EU VAT number [number]. Contact: hello@montia.ai.
2. Scope
These terms of sale govern subscriptions and credit purchases made on montia.ai by consumers or businesses (the "Customer"). They supplement the terms of use. Specific terms may be signed with businesses (Studio plan, API).
3. Plans and prices
- Free: free; 3 edited minutes per month.
- Creator: €15 per month, or €12.50 per month billed yearly; 30 edited minutes per month.
- Pro: €39 per month, or €32.50 per month billed yearly; 120 edited minutes per month.
- Studio: €129 per month, or €107.50 per month billed yearly; 500 edited minutes per month.
- Credits: €0.60 per edited minute, in packs of 20 minutes (€12), valid for 12 months from purchase.
An "edited minute" is one minute of final delivered video. A subscription's allowance renews each period and does not roll over. Prices are in euros including all taxes [or: VAT not applicable, art. 293 B of the French Tax Code, depending on the Publisher's tax status]. The Publisher may change its prices; a current subscription is only affected at its next renewal, after the Customer has been informed at least 30 days in advance.
4. Order and payment
Orders are placed online: choice of plan, summary, acceptance of these terms, then card payment via [payment provider]. The contract is formed upon payment confirmation, sent by email with the invoice. Subscriptions are paid in advance, monthly or yearly.
5. Term, renewal, cancellation
- Subscriptions run for one month or one year and renew automatically for the same period.
- For a yearly subscription, consumer Customers are informed of the deadline for cancelling the renewal no earlier than three months and no later than one month before its end (article L215-1 of the French Consumer Code).
- The Customer may cancel at any time, online, in a few clicks, from the cancellation feature of their account (article L215-1-1 of the French Consumer Code). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period; access remains until then. Periods already started are not refunded, unless the law provides otherwise.
- Upgrade: immediate, prorated. Downgrade: from the next period.
6. Right of withdrawal
Consumer Customers have 14 days from subscription to withdraw, without giving a reason, by email to hello@montia.ai or using the model form below (articles L221-18 et seq. of the French Consumer Code). By expressly requesting that the Service start during this period, the Customer acknowledges that:
- if they withdraw, they pay an amount proportionate to the service provided until withdrawal (article L221-25);
- they lose their right of withdrawal for any edit fully performed before the end of the period, with their prior express consent (article L221-28, 1°).
Refunds are made within 14 days, using the original payment method.
Withdrawal form: "To [company name, address], hello@montia.ai: I hereby give notice that I withdraw from the contract for the subscription or credits below. Ordered on: … / Consumer's name: … / Account email: … / Date: …"
7. Performance and warranties
Edits are processed in queue order, with no guaranteed turnaround except on the Studio plan. Consumer Customers benefit from the statutory warranty of conformity for digital content and services (articles L224-25-12 et seq. of the French Consumer Code): in case of non-conformity, they can obtain conformity, failing which a price reduction or termination of the contract. A failed edit is not deducted from the allowance.
8. Liability
The Publisher has an obligation of means. Its liability towards a business Customer is limited to the amount paid over the previous 12 months. These limits apply neither to consumers for damages the law forbids limiting, nor in case of gross negligence or wilful misconduct.
9. Mediation and governing law
In case of dispute, the Customer first contacts hello@montia.ai. If no agreement is reached within two months, consumer Customers may refer the matter free of charge to the consumer mediator: [mediator name and contact details] (articles L612-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code). These terms are governed by French law. For businesses, jurisdiction lies with the courts of [city].
